Cousins Meeting Cousins

This page will tell about which cousins met which cousins for the very first time. One of the purposes of this web page is to draw our extended family closer together. It is succeeding! Cousins are meeting cousins and are writing to other cousins. If you met a cousin for the first time let me know about it and I will put it on this page.

When	Who	The Details
April 1998	Roslyn and Stanley Kopit, Mike Radel & Bob Wascou	Carol Rapaport visited Ellis Island a few years ago and she used the computer there to search for family names of people who came thru Ellis Island. Roslyn had made a contribution in memory of her grandfather Joseph Giltman who was a first cousin to Marcus Giltman. Contact was made and Mike and I visited Roslyn and Stanley in their home. We had a very pleasant visit and added about 75 names to the Giltman family tree.
July 1998	Nancy Ann Blumstein and Burt Kopelow & Bob Wascou	We met for dinner and conversation in Santa Monica (Los Angeles). We talked about our families and the history of our family. I received some pictures of her siblings and parents that will be added to the web site in the future.
July 1998	Barbara Fine & Barbara Blechner	Barbara Fine said "I met Barbara Blechner for lunch yesterday, and I am so glad you told me about her. We had a most enjoyable lunch. She is a very sweet nice person and we hope to meet again sometime. We were searching each others faces for a sign of family resemblence, but neither of us could detect any."
